Bento #53 ~ Little Girls in Bear Costumes ~

Today's bento ~ little girls in bear costumes. Hmmm...........actually wanted to make little girls in Totoro but no time to finish it >.< Sometimes will feel stress to finish two bentos within 45 min. How I wish I have more time to finish it nicely. My hubby saw me in a hurry, he laugh and said "I think you got to wake up at 4am to do your bento" =.=

Little girl is onigiri whereas the costume is made of inari. I cut an oval shape hole for the little girl face. Add a piece of egg sheet for the hair and details are nori. Dabbed a little bit of tomato sauce for the cheeks.

In the bento, there are pan-seared salmon, pumpkin ball, chikuwa and tangerine ^_^

After a week of hazy, finally can get some good weather. Last Saturday afternoon, bake some blueberry muffins for my girls tea break. Love this recipe, so easy and taste great! Even a baking dummy like ME can do it! Lol! Thanks to my bento friend Mom's In Love Bento recommended this recipe to me. The recipe comes from another blogger Mitong which I love her recipes very much!

And here is the recipe:-

Blueberry - 125g (but i add more than that :P)

Preparation:
1) Remove the unsalted butter from fridge and keep it in room temperature so that it will turn soft.
2) Eggs in room temperature too.
3) Mix the cake flour with baking powder, sift twice.
4) Wash blueberry and dried well.
5) Preheat the oven at 200deg.C (but due to my oven a bit beyond control :P so i set at 160deg.C)

Method:
1) Mix the unsalted butter with sugar till it turns a bit white, next pour in the eggs. Pour in the eggs slowly, divide it about 3-4 times, mix well each time before continue pouring the eggs.
