Sharing last Sunday dinner for Little A. She requested Totoro for her dinner. Ah! that is good, I love request where I do not need to crack my brain for ideas (but provided the request is within my capabilities, don't give me those which I do not know where to start! Lol!)
Totoro is rice with nori and cheese. Air-fried spaghetti for the whiskers. Dust bunnies are meatballs, nori and cheese.
We had carrot soup and air fried salmon for dinner.
Totoro is holding balloons! ^_^

Bento #115 ~ Hello Kitty
Lately Big E is crazy with Japanese curry. She can have it everyday! Lol!
So last week, she requested to bring Japanese curry to school. I bought a Hello Kitty thermo quite sometimes so thinking to match with the thermo, I used Hello Kitty mould to make two Hello Kitty onigiri. Add imitation crabsticks, nori and corn for the details. Simple and fastest way to do in the morning ^_^

Bento #112 ~ Rilakkuma ~
Late post again, posting the bento that I made on last week.
I made Rilakkuma for Big E, initially planned to make other character using meatballs but mummy woke up late again......Ah! When can I change the habit of sleeping late?? I think it is very difficult for me.....hehe
I used mince meats to make the shape of Rilakkuma which is much more easier for me where I can finish it within 20 minutes. A friend asked me "how do you finished the bento within 20 minutes?" Thanks to the high technology of the kitchen gadget where I can finished everything on time. I washed the rice the night before and set the rice cooker to cook at 4.00am. Minced and marinated the meat overnight too. First thing in the morning, shape the meat and throw them in the air-fryer, set timer to cook in 12min. In the meantime, I fried the tamogoyaki, so when the meatball is cooked, I just have to put everything in the box. That's it! This is what I usually do in the morning when time is so limited. ^_^
Simple bento with Rilakkuma meatball, seaweed tamagoyaki and some strawberries for my girl.

Bento #111 ~ Sakura Bento
Today, I packed a bento for myself....hehe. I named it Sakura Bento.
I bought a pack of dried preserved sakura flower quite long ago. It is packed in a packet of 10 flowers. Got to use it fast before it expired :P The preserved sakura flowers taste a bit sour, just like sour plum...haha.
I made sushi with the sakura flowers on top. Using my precious bento box which was my last year birthday gift from my sister. Hardly let my girl use it, worried she might spoil it :P
In the bento, there are dashi tamago, steamed prawns, baby pepper and strawberries.
I pack the bento box in my favourite furoshiki. It's beautiful right? Hehe.....
Hmm....but I think got to practise more on tying the furoshiki, looks a bit messy........

Bento #109 ~ Happy Kitten on the Moon ~
Today I make a happy kitten on the moon for Big E. There is no special reason why I make this theme as I have limited ingredients in my fridge and I hope to finish all in this bento :)
Happy kitten is made from onigiri wrapped in nori. I left a small piece of nori with lots of punched holes, so I cut and paste the nori on the kitten....so worried not enough to paste! LOL! The eyes are the balance egg white from the hard boiled egg which I used the egg yolk to make the moon.
In the bento, there are air fried salmon marinated in Shio Koji and strawberries.

Dinner ~ Honey, the funny bunny from the Moshi Monsters
Hi everyone! I'm back from my Chinese New Year break!
Sharing a food art done on last week for Big E's dinner. Big E is a big fan of Moshi Monsters, she is crazy with all these Moshlings and even has the collection of the figurines! Suppose to make it for school bento but due to mummy still cannot wake up at 5.30am therefore it end up become dinner........Lol! I make Honey the funny bunny, one of the Moshlings for her *actually I only know this character, the rest I got no idea how they look like! Lol!
Honey is rice with nori, crabsticks, cheese and color gel for the details. Honey is holding a money sack which is made from beancurd skin (ready made frozen food which can be found in the supermarket during Chinese New Year).
We had tempura prawns and steamboats for dinner! After dinner, Big E gave me a Moshlings Guide Book, a book full of Moshling characters. She said "mummy you can see here for other Moshling characters for the next bento!".......Oh No! >.<

Bento #86 ~ Autumn Bears
Yesterday night, while I'm looking at my bento boxes, thinking what to use for today's bento.....Big E saw my wooden bento box and asked "mummy, why not tomorrow use this box?" I paused for awhile to reply her, I'm quite reluctant to let her bring to school....... so worried she will spoil it :P Maybe Big E knows my worries, she said "mummy, don't worry I will take care your precious box." Ok, then shall bring this bento box to school. :)
Today I've make two cute bears playing peekaboo in this Autumn season. How I wish my place here have four seasons too.......

The leaves are egg sheets and carrot using cutter to cut out the shape.
In the bento, there are honey soy chicken, pan-fried hanpen and a pack of furikake.
