Bento #45~ Little Strawberries Onigiri ~

Today almost no bento for the girls......Yesterday night, I forgot to start the rice cooker @.@ Usually I will set the timer to cook the rice at 4.00am. Luckily morning wake up still enough time for me to cook the rice. How I wish the rice will cooked within 10 mins :P I use fan to cool down the rice and quickly shape the onigiri. So today onigiri a bit out of shape....hahaha

While waiting for the rice to cook, I prepare the little strawberries using ham and cheese, broccoli as the leaves and details are nori. 

Other than rice onigiri, I prepared some gyoza, fried egg and sausages (not in the photo), a pack of furikake and some grapes for the girls.

Bento #44 ~ Rilakkuma & Korilakkuma Good Luck Bento ~

Hmm........when everyone almost finish their exam, Big E start her exam. Today first day of exam, I make Rilakkuma and Korilakkuma with good luck headband for the girls. Having a good luck / gambateh bento on the first day of exam seems a must for the girls. Yesterday night, my niece called me to remind me to make good luck bento for her. Haha........This make me stress because I'm so worried that I cannot wake up on time, as this will normally happen to me on Monday :P Luckily manage to wake up at 5.15am. 

I darken the Rilakkuma with some dark soy sauce, headband is made of crabstick and the wording is egg sheet. The ears are made of sausages and chikuwa. Today's menu, grilled salmon, scallop beancurd, sausages and chikuwa. Forgot to add in the fruits :S

Told Big E do not shake the bento bags as I worried the wordings will fall although I've used angel hair to fixed the wordings. Big E replied "Don't worry mummy, if the words fall I still will find the words and eat it!" Lol!

Bento #43 ~ Bunny Bento ~

Today I got no idea what to make for the girls. So last minute make this bunny onigiri for them. Decorate with a butterfly pick on the ear. 

Prepared their favourite breaded meat balls, broccoli, tamagoyaki and a small pack of furikake. And also our usual fruits strawberries and grapes ^_^

Bento #42 ~ Doggie Bento ~

This bento is done on last Sunday for Little A's lunch. I make doggie for her. Doggie is rice with salmon filling, one of the ear is darken using soy sauce. Nose is rice wrapped with nori and mouth is the crabstick. Add a few toasted spaghetti for the hair.

Lunch serves with tamagoyaki, nuggets, fruits and a bowl of hot fish soup :)

Little A saw the doggie and said this is a koala bear @.@
Luckily she still loves the "koala doggie" and finish everything! :D

Bento #41 ~ Ribbon Sushi ~

Last Saturday, I make some ribbon sushi for the girls tea break. I mixed some rice with tomato sauce to get the two tone color of white and red. But maybe because I worried too much tomato sauce will taste not good, the color seems not very outstanding.......

I fried some nuggets and tamagoyaki for the girls. And some fruits for them too.

First attempt of making the ribbon sushi, looks still ok kah? :P

Bento #40 ~ Bears Bento ~

After a few days rest, today start my bento-ing again :D Hmm....really cannot rest too long, will feel lazy to start bento-ing :P 

Today make two bears onigiri for the girls. One of the bear is darken with a bit of dark soy sauce, ears and cheeks are made of sausages. Details are cheese and nori. Add a cap for the bears too :) 

Pan-fried salmon, scallop beancurd, some sausages and grapes for the girls.

Bento #39 ~ Poppet, Moshi Monsters ~

Big E has been pestering me to make Poppet for her. Poppet is one of the character from the game Moshi Monsters. At the moment, this is her favourite game. Since I still have some pink egg sheet left so I make a big head Poppet for her :)

In the bento, there are fried egg with cheese and ham sandwiches. Some wedges with cheese dip and of course our usual fruits strawberries :)
